A Taste of the Island, Rooted in the Land
Tucked away on six serene acres along the island’s south coast, our farm-to-table restaurant offers an intimate and thoughtfully curated dining experience. With a focus on seasonality, sustainability, and connection, we welcome a limited number of guests to each event — creating evenings that feel both personal and memorable.
Our open-air courtyard provides an elegant setting, surrounded by natural beauty and understated design, the space invites appreciation for every detail.
Each evening begins at 6:00 PM with a complementary welcome wine and, weather permitting, a brief guided walk through our gardens and farm. Guests then gather at our communal table for our signature 6-course tasting dinner, hosted on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Menus are inspired by the week’s harvest and what the island provides — vegetables from our gardens, fish from nearby waters, and ingredients sourced through close partnerships with local farmers. Behind each course is the vision of Chef Ludo, whose French roots and years of experience in Canada and the UK bring a distinctive European perspective — thoughtfully blended with the bold, soulful flavors of the Azores. The menu changes nightly and is served as a surprise tasting, with optional wine pairings carefully selected to complement the meal.
On Sundays, we also offer our 4- course lunch service, once again showcasing fresh, local flavors.
With a maximum of 20 guests per event, each dinner or lunch is a one-of-a-kind event — not just a meal, but a carefully composed experience of place, season, and connection.
In inclement weather we will dine in our lovely indoor area.
